Patricia Knight-Scott is a qualified, dynamic vocal tutor who has maintained her voice through the years.  As a women, Patricia understands how "we have to navigate a whole range of hormonal changes at different life stages which inevitably affect the voice — which is why she uses techniques suited to getting the best from your voice at any age, from complete beginners to seasoned performers."

 

Patricia's journey began at the age of 9, when she started singing as a soloist in a junior gospel choir. That early spark led her to become one of the founding Lead Singers in the renowned London Community Gospel Choir, and from there she was handpicked to join Nu Colors — a group signed to the Polydor record label — touring and performing live on TV and radio.

She has worked across recording studios, live shows, corporate events, weddings, gospel choir workshops, and music wellness workshops — bringing her gift to every stage she stands on.

Patricia has recorded featuring with other artists as well as recording her own mini EP.  Patricia continues to work in the music business recording, providing backing vocals to the stars and performing solo live shows, whilst running workshops and courses.

 

​As a teacher, Patricia has spent over 20 years guiding students to get the very best from their voice. Her lessons cover the full foundations of vocal technique: breath control, pitch, vocal range, eliminating strain, improving well-being and building lasting confidence. She also runs group singing sessions, gospel choir workshops, and music wellness workshops — having discovered first-hand the profound emotional and physical benefits that singing brings (see what students say)..
